A rare find !! Queensland Cyclists Union Eadie Road Race, 25 Mile Road Championship of Queensland 1903 won by the South Brisbane Cycling Club won in 1:12:18. The trophy and wooden plinth are huge, the combined weight is a hefty 5.3kgs. Total height including the plinth is 58cms, with the trophy being 48cms high x 31cms wide (handle to handle) Silver-plate with a good English maker Walker & Hall with clear hallmarking to the base. The lid is a snug fit, some minor toning & plate loss, but generally in great condition. Museum quality & worthy of a good home !!
