Description

Description

It’s an interesting piece that was more than likely produced for the European tourist trade in the early 1900s. The original PERFUGIUM REGIBUS medal was struck in 1689 under the reign of French King Louis XIV and was often associated with renowned Artists & Sculpturers. Despite this, these plaques are very collectable & are generally framed. The plaque measures 18cms x 12.5cms x 0.9cms thick. Needs a clean otherwise in good condition.
