A yellow gold diamond accented and enamelled royal confirmation pin. The pin was presented on March 28th 1912 to Georgina Agar on her 16th year by Queen Alexandra as inscribed on the pin’s reverse. Georgina Agar, the pins recipient is the daughter of Sidney James Agar, the 4th earl of Normanton. The Agar family are direct descendants of William the Conqueror. The Pin is finely enamelled (looks like a repair to enamel on top) with a rose cut diamond set at its four corners. the design at the pins centre is a crown over the entwined initials (E&A) of King Edward the VII and his wife Queen Alexandra. Measures 25mm across and weighs 4.3 grams.
