This Wonderful and scarce men’s pocket watch from around 1900 is fitted with a stem winding gilt finished swiss split second lever movement. The white enamel dial has black arabic numerals, a outer minute chapter ring, with centre split second chronograph hands as well as two sub-dials for the seconds at 6 o’clock and 30 minute recorder at 12 o'clock. The heavy 18k rose gold double snap pocket watch case is in great condition, hinges are tight and back snaps close, front looks like engraving was removed, minor, ingraved to inner front lid. The total weight is 152g.
The dial is unsigned and case has matching numbers. The watch case number is 63020 all matching. The watch case measures 53 mm in diameter. The watch is in great condition with minor traces of use. It is running well during a time test. and all functions are working well, The nickel lever movement is signed Poitevin & Co, jeweled through the chronograph, chronograph levers being polished with bevelled edges, blued overcoiled hairspring, swan neck precision regulator with ultra fine snail regulation, a very high grade movement.
Complicated watches are getting harder to obtain and prices are rising, a beautiful pocket watch in great condition.
