Description
Antique 1900's R. Wallace & Sons Irving Pattern Sterling Punch/Soup Ladle 180g
Gracefully decorated sterling silver long handled soup or punch ladle in Irving pattern. The ladle was produced in the early 1900's by esteemed flatware producers Robert Wallace & Sons Manufacturing Company. The ladle is very elegant and the striking Irving pattern is sophisticated, decorative and yet remains subtle. The bowl is a great size to scoop up a good amount of whatever liquid you wish to serve. It would be a lovely way to serve soup or ladle out some Pimms, favourite mocktail or whatever you like, on a warm day, whilst entertaining. The handle is stamped with STERLING pat no and very faintly, the very recognisable R.Wallce & Sons logo stamp. The ladle is in very good condition commensurate with age. The bowl of the ladle just has a few slight surface scratches. The ladle has been cleaned and lightly polished ready for a new home.
