SUPER RARE !!! Extensive research has failed to find another example of the print / photo in private hands or institutions. Judging by the style of the bike & clothing it dates post WW1, late 1920s / early 1930s. We also tried researching the photo of the woman on the bike, the bikes number plate & also the property in the background, but again failed to find anything. More than likely reproduced from the original negative or plate on thicker than normal paper, traces of the Silver Gelatin can still be seen around the edges. It has been crudely matted as can be seen by the photo. Photo size 20cms x 15cms, matted size 25.3cms x 20.5cms. Ex estate so no history is known how it arrived in Australia.
