Rare Large WW1 AIF Australian Corps Front / Villers Bretonneux Map + Letter.


One of the better WW1 maps on offer, 100% genuine & not a copy !! Ex estate so no history is known about the item. A Divisional Sector map showing the Australian Corps Front with Villers-Bretonneux at the centre. The map measures 68cms x 50cms & is dated in the top left hand corner 30/7/18. The letter, though very faded, is dated 1/8/18 & was signed by Major T F Borwick, later becoming Lt Colonel. The paper map has some small losses / holes along the fold lines, some stains & foxing, attached to acid free backing, has been matted. Will be posted flat.
