Vintage 1953 Mappin & Webb Classic Design Sterling Silver Fish Knife 18.5g

Vintage, elegant sterling silver fish knife by Royal Cutlery works company, Mappin & Webb. The handle has a tiered scroll detail at the tip with graduating body terminating with plain blade. The hallmarks to the underside are very crisp and clear. The following stamps are present, M&W makers mark stamp, Crown for Sheffield, lion rampant fineness stamp and lastly the date letter L for the year 1953. The additional stamp is the of the Queen as 1953 was the year of the Queen's coronation. This classic designed item in great condition, would be a fantastic addition to any silver collection.
