Vintage Sterling Silver Blue Morpho Butterfly Wing Tropical Scene Pendant 5.9g

Delightful, vintage, sterling silver and blue morph butterfly wing pendant with a tropical scene. This beautiful and unique pendant was made from real butterfly wings and is vintage from around the 1950s. The blue morpho butterfly is a stunning iridescent turquoise blue colour. The wings glitter and shimmer especially when moved in the light. The butterfly wing is painted with a sunset and palm tree scape, this is encased under domed glass top. Surrounding the oval painted butterfly wing is a decorative, floral sterling silver setting. The pendant is in good used condition and has been cleaned and lightly polished ready to wear.
