Description

A stunning collectable. Was found with a selection of antique continental jewellery in a bag marked  French Locket  The locket is not marked / stamped so have no way of verifying this fact, also the 2 medals are stuck to the case, so can not check the inside. The very decorative outer appears to be gold plated base metal, the 2 medallions are not hallmarked but look very much like silver. The heart shaped locket is designed for a purse, wallet, pocket as there is no loop, perhaps for a sweetheart. It weighs 11.2 grams & measures 25mm high x 23mm wide when closed.
