An exceptional vintage handmade 18ct white gold ceylon sapphire and diamond cluster ring, centred with an impressive approximately 11.15 carat natural Ceylon type sapphire.

The large oval faceted sapphire displays an attractive light cornflower blue colour and is stated in the accompanying independent valuation as unheated, with moderate natural inclusions.

Surrounding the sapphire is a brilliant halo of 18 claw set modern brilliant cut diamonds, calculated to total approximately 1.44 carats. The diamonds are assessed as G colour and P1 clarity, creating a bright and highly impressive frame around the centre stone.

The ring has been beautifully handmade with a substantial raised wire basket setting. The open gallery allows light to enter beneath the sapphire while showcasing the quality and complexity of the traditional craftsmanship.
