1849 Letter in French to the President of the Scientific Congress, Ixelles.


My French is a bit rusty, but it is possibly a thank you letter for being able to attend a meeting / conference, it will need a translator to decipher the contents of the letter, the little cartoon at the bottom is quaint, again meaning unknown. It measures 31cms x 20cms. Heavy folds, tears, losses, stains, foxing. In need of restoration.
