Antique Edwardian Crisford & Norris Sterling Silver Roller Skate Pin Cushion Birmingham 1912

A charming Edwardian sterling silver novelty pin cushion modelled as a lady's roller skate, finely detailed with raised laces, stitched seams, a decorative toe cap and four rotating wheels.

Made by renowned Birmingham silversmiths Crisford & Norris and fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1912. Also stamped with registered design number Rd 535166.

The original pin cushion insert is now largely absent. The silver body displays dents, splits, surface wear and age related patina, particularly around the upper opening and underside, as clearly photographed.
