A historically interesting silver Tanka from Arakan, dated BE1146 / 1784, during the period of Bodawpaya. The coin features a distinctive corded border and bold regional script, with attractive silver tone and struck detail.

This example has been professionally certified by NGC as AU Details - Mounted. The suspension mount is an important part of the coin's story: pieces such as this were often pierced and worn, either as personal adornment, amulets, or status objects.
