Description

This delightful antique brooch features a smooth bezel set translucent glossy agate gem. The agate is exquisite with bands of white, copper, orange and burnt orange tones. The brooch unfortunately, does not have any stamps or hallmarks but the gold tests as minimum 9 carat yellow gold. The metal pin and clasp on this piece are original and this dates the brooch to around 1900 - 1920, when the first riveted clasps appeared. This surreal landscape style brooch is good order and is ready to enjoy.
