Beautiful Vintage 12ct Yellow Gold Carved Coral Rose Ring & Earring Set 16.7g

Really beautiful, vintage jewellery set comprising a sculptural, rose carved ring and matching earrings for non-pierced ears. The settings are stylised leaves sweeping upwards to gently caress the carved coral roses, centrally set with prong settings. The gold is not stamped and no makers marks but laser tested as minimum 12 carat yellow gold. The earrings have screw on fittings suitable for non-pierced ears but could easily be adjusted to suit pierced ears by a jeweller.

The ring is a delightful cocktail style ring and the pieces would date to around 1950's to 1960s. The jewellery set is very well made and the only small thing is a tiny section of carved coral has broken off one of the earrings. The roses are well secured in the prong setting but there is a little movement. It is not super noticeable. The coral is vintage and is a stunning salmon pink colour. The carving of the roses is naturalistic and very well executed. This gorgeous ring and earring set will be a sheer delight for its new owner.
