Ethereal 14ct White Gold Filigree & Cameo Trio of Cherubs Brooch Pendant

This stunningly beautiful vintage shell cameo is set into 14 carat white gold and is an exceptional jewellery piece. The cameo itself is so intricately carved, making full use of the natural layers of the shell. The highly skilled carver has created a spectacularly well carved scene depicting three ethereal cherubs in a figurative style. The cherubs and fluffy clouds are elegantly portrayed in a delicate white hue in contrast to the light carnelian tones of the background shell.

Around the setting is a fine woven, filigree design with a repeating leaf design accent to the top, bottom and sides, framing the portrait perfectly. To the rear of the piece the brooch and pendant bale fittings are also in white gold. The cameo pendant / brooch is stamped with 14k to the tip of the brooch fitting. This very impressive cameo would be a fabulous addition to any collection.
