Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Acorn Design 1931 Fruit Spoon UK Import Stamps 15cm

The acorn pattern was first designed in 1915 by Johan Rohde for Georg Jensen and represents the early foundation of Georg Jensen's organic and timeless design style. The design qualities of the Acorn design captured a classic and understated style, where decoration was used only to emphasise form and sharp. This was in contrast to the Art Nouveau movement of the 1900's where pieces were decorated mainly for beauty. The acorn design is regarded as a noble pattern.

This fruit spoon captures the design aesthetic beautifully, crafted from high quality silver and made in Denmark. The spoon has Georg Jensen's logo stamp from the time period 1915 - 1932 Further to these stamps are UK import stamps and the date letter Q for the year 1931. Overall the condition of the spoon is excellent, considering its age, it has been well cared for. The stamps are very clear and the quality construction is evident , ensuring its durability and longevity. The timeless style of this decorative spoon makes it a highly collectable, beautiful piece. A must have for any Georg Jensen collector.
