Gerlach Nierdzewne 1921-1963 Polish .800 Silver Handled Serrated Knife Set of 8

A stunning set of eight serrated dinner knives with ornately decorated handles in .800 silver. The handles feel very comfortable in your hand and are tapered to the join with the quality stainless steel blade. The handles are decorated in a classical style with elegant leaf detailing. The knives also have a monogram detail to one side, B.E. in art deco style. Overall the condition of the knife set is good, the handles in particular, the blades have a few pits and scratches commensurate with age. Stamped to the handle with 'Gerlach Nierdzewne' the handles are stamped with the Polish hallmark for .800 silver with WH the maker of the handles for Gerlach. An elegant set of knives to set your table with, the serrated edge providing a good degree of practicality.
