Huge Vintage Rhinestone Eagle Brooch 18cm Wide Base Metal Statement Piece


A striking antique rhinestone eagle brooch circa 1900, designed with dramatic outstretched wings and a finely detailed eagle head to the centre. The wings are set throughout with rows of clear faceted rhinestones, giving the piece strong sparkle and presence. The eagle head is modelled in relief with textured feather detail, a curved beak and amber-style eye detail, adding great character. This is a very large statement brooch, measuring approximately 18cm wide, making it an impressive display piece as well as a wearable vintage costume jewellery item. The brooch is constructed in base metal with a silver gilt-tone reverse and pin fitting. There is age-related wear, tarnish and patina to the metal, particularly on the reverse, consistent with age.
