Modernist Organic Sterling Silver & Mexican Fire Opal Heavy Sculptural Ring 32g

Fabulous sculptural sterling silver and freeform Mexican fire opal centrepiece ring. The modernist style, heavy setting, although created in solid sterling silver is fluid and somehow delicate. The ring is a OOAK or one of a kind piece and it probably dates to around the 1970's. Inside the ring band is stamped with Mexico and 925. The ring feels comfortable to wear and is a size N1/2. Mexican fire opal is such a beautiful gemstone, a sunset orange colour with flashes of fiery orange, red and electric green. It is a really stunning ring in excellent vintage condition
