Great beginners parcel for the lapidary enthusiast or for students to practise their cutting skills.  This parcel of Australian opal rough and rubs is ready for work.  The photos show the opal dry as well as wet.  When buying opal in the rough you should always see it dry if possible as that is what you will receive.  The photos of the opal wet are to give a bit of an idea of what the opals will look like when cut and polished.  There is a lot of purple, green and a little bit of pink and blue in the parcel.  Some of the material is cracked but overall its a fair parcel to hone your skills at a decent price.
