RARE 1881 Thomas Edison Aust. Patent #3088 "Improvement in Electric Machines"

On offer is a rare patent, No. 3088 lodged in Victoria, Australia on the 20/09/1881 by Thomas Alva Edison for "Improvements in magneto or dynamo electric machines or electric engines" The lot includes a large Photo lithograph of original drawings and a complete half page wording details . It is understood that these patents were issued as loose sheets as periodicals by the Victorian Government to Lawyers and Institutions with an end result of compiling patents for the calendar year. Also noted are 2 unrelated patents included on the drawing sheet as it forms part of the page which includes Edisons patent. The drawing sheet is 43cms x 27cms when unfolded & the page 27cms x 20cms.
