Retro 18ct Rose Gold Synthetic Ruby & Diamond Scroll Brooch c1940s
An elegant Retro period brooch crafted in 18ct rose and white gold, featuring a sculptural arrangement of asymmetric scrolls and ribbons. The design combines textured and polished gold finishes with applied white gold borders, creating a striking contrast characteristic of mid-century jewellery.
The central scroll is claw set with a round faceted synthetic ruby, complemented by further round and square cut synthetic rubies individually and channel set throughout the composition. Brilliant cut diamonds embellish the white gold scrolls and terminals, adding brilliance and definition to the flowing design.
The brooch is fitted with a hinged pin and plunger clasp, together with a pigtail attachment for adding a drop item.
