Beautiful 1964 Towle Medallic Art Sterling Medallion featuring "The Pieta" by Michelangelo. The front of the medallion is embossed Roma 1498 Pieta by Michelangelo New York 1964, as well as the artist, A. Manga 1964 ©.The high relief detail of the original sculpture is really fine. The rear of the piece is stamped Towle / Medallic Art Sterling. This would be a great limited edition piece for any collector and it is great condition without a case.
