Stunning Vintage Sterling Silver & Marcasite Lizard with Garnet Eyes Brooch 10.5g

This beautifully crafted sterling silver lizard is so adorable with a figurative body and sweet expression. The lizards body is entirely covered in sparkling marcasite gems with two contrasting ruby red garnet eyes. The brooch is a good size and presents really well, in superb vintage condition. The rear of the lizards body has taken on a darker patina and the top area was lightly polished with a jewellers cloth, otherwise it is in original condition. Stamped the rear of the tail with 925. This gorgeous brooch will be a bold accessory and fantastic addition to any jewellery collection.
