SUPER RARE 1856 Vol 1. No 8. Punch or the Sydney Charivari Newspaper / Magazine


Museum Quality / Super rare with very few in existence. Was unable to find any for sale or that had sold, the majority of copies are held in Government Institutions, Libraries, Archives, Collections. Vol 1 No 8, Saturday, November 15, 1856. 16 pages in total including back & front, page numbers range from 81 to 96, though strangely page 90 is blank and 12 of the back pages are joined (see photos), must have been a problem when printing. Have left them untouched & have not tried to seperate them. Foxed, stained & very tatty around the edges with tears, holes, creasing, losses & fold marks. Pages measure 30cms x 22.5cms.
