Unsual !! WW1 1917 RAF Official Photograph. "Pigeon Stuffed in Glass Case"

HNCO has just acquired a wonderful collection of WW1 official British military photographs, featuring the RAF & Royal Navy. Most have details to the rear and are of a large format. Some rare images !!

Very Clear !! Can only assume that this was a WW1 prized British Message Carrier Pigeon, name unknown. Photographed by the R.A.F. Photo Unit, 73rd Wing Gt, Yarmouth 15/11/1917. Negative no. 9. Measures 20.5cms x 15.5cms.
