Victorian 10ct Rose Gold & Silver Brooch/ Earring Set with Pearls & Glass 8g

Beautifully handcrafted 10 carat rose gold with oxidised silver dome featured earring and brooch set. The Victorian era set comes with the original box (unfortunately, missing the lid) To the inside of the box is written " A. Cutore & Figlia, Oreficeria, Augusta. Unfortunately, the name is very faded and the company could not be found to research further. This antique jewellery set comprises of earrings and brooch all in the same style.

The heavy oxidisation provides great contrast to the set. The little texturised domes are decorated with small stars and inside is set a green emerald coloured glass stone. Around the edge of this are a circle of fresh water pearls interspaced with gold balls. Unfortunately, a few of these pearls have become lost over the course of time. Although not hallmarked, it tests as minimum 10 carat gold and sterling silver. It is a very interesting jewellery set to collect, restore and enjoy.
