Vintage 1979 Omega Seamaster "Baby Ploprof" Stainless Steel Automatic Watch Ref. 166.0250 with Omega Shark Mesh Bracelet

A distinctive vintage Omega Seamaster with bold proportions, a highly legible black dial and the unmistakable character of a classic tool watch. Paired with an Omega shark mesh bracelet, this 1979 "Baby Ploprof" makes an impressive statement on the wrist.

The black dial features luminous baton hour markers, matching luminous hands and a date window at 3 o'clock. It is signed "Omega Seamaster Automatic" with "120m/400ft" and "Swiss Made" markings.

The stainless steel case measures 39mm across, excluding the crown, and features its original rotating bezel with a black insert and a screw back. The inside case back is signed "Omega Watch Co" and bears reference 166.0250.

Powered by the Omega calibre 1010 automatic movement, the watch has just been serviced and is running with a measured amplitude of 271 degrees. Current timing results indicate it loses approximately 16 seconds per day.

The accompanying Omega flat link shark mesh bracelet completes its purposeful vintage look and will accommodate a wrist measuring approximately 195mm or smaller.
