Vintage S&F Sterling Silver Celluloid Roses & Green Enamelled Floral Brooch 5.2g

This beautiful vintage find features a trio of celluloid like rose rosettes with a sterling silver setting by esteemed New York company Spritzer and Fuhrmann. The stylised leaves are detailed and gracefully adorn the brooch adding great realism to the piece. The pretty leaves are coloured in two shades of green enamel and the enamel looks to be mainly intact. This stunning example of a mid century brooch will look charming on a jacket or coat and be a lovely gift idea for a brooch collector. The rear of the brooch is stamped with Sterling Silver, S&F and 13/0.

Spritzer & Fuhrmann were a New York based jewellery firm that operated between 1941 to 1955. The company was founded by Paul Spritzer and Paul Fuhrmann, who were both experienced jewellers, originally from Germany. Their jewellery was renowned for its use of colourful and exotic gemstones, as well as its intricate designs.
