Description

Carved vintage carnelian shell cameo stick pin featuring a ladies portrait. The carnelian shell has been carved to reveal the two different colours within the shell. The carving is a more simplistic style but the scene is none the less still lovely. The setting of the cameo in 10 carat yellow gold is lovely, around the setting is a twisted rope detail. Cameo is in good vintage used condition. The back of the setting is not stamped but has been acid tested as minimal 10k gold and the pin is stamped 10KS.
