Rare 1950 IWC Ref. 467 Calibre 85 Pellaton Automatic 18k Rose Gold Watch +Box

A horological IWC milestone, vintage 1950-1 IWC International Watch Co 18K Pink Gold French Case Cal 85 Automatic Watch ref 467, in its original box. The double swiss silver dial with raised pointed batons with matching gilt hands is signed International watch co schaffhausen swiss and fab Suisse at the top. The Calibre 85 was introduced in 1950 with the Pellaton automatic winding system, and production is widely cited at around 8,400 pieces, making it a short lived and genuinely collectible early IWC automatic and is working well, gains 10 seconds a day, amp 244, serviced 12 months ago by us and put aside. The 33mm French 18k solid pink gold two piece case is fully signed in the back with frech eaglle head and PGF (Paul Frank / Precision Geneve France), glass has a few flea bite chips to edge. Dont miss this one and comes complete with original box and its vintage strap it came with, original 18k gold buckle is 18k rose gold and marked IWC with french eagle head hallmark.
