Rare Antique Longines Doctors Chronograph 18K Gold O/F Pocket Watch

A superb antique Longines doctor's chronograph pocket watch, housed in a large 18K yellow gold 53.8mm open face case and weighing an impressive 97 grams.


The crisp white porcelain dial features bold black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6, minute register at 12, outer minute tracking in black, and the desirable red "Gradué Pour 30 Pulsations" medical scale, designed for timing a patient's pulse. Finished with elegant blued steel hands and signed Longines.


Powered by a cal 19.73N manual stem-wind chronograph movement, working well, gains 11 seconds a day amp 345.


The 18K gold double snap-back case remains in original condition, with one dent noted to the case. Fully signed P & D, numbered, and hallmarked 18K gold.
