René Lalique Bammako Pearlescent Vase No.10-882 w/ Frosted Glass c1934 Signed

René Lalique "Bammako" Pearlescent Vase, Model No. 10-882, designed in 1934. One of René Lalique's final and most distinctive Art Deco vase designs, the Bammako features a gently tapering cylindrical form covered with rows of raised polished cabochons set against a beautifully frosted satin ground. The striking contrast between the clear polished bosses and the pearlescent frosted body creates a remarkable play of light, making this one of Lalique's most sculptural late-period designs.

This example is finished in a desirable pearlescent opalescent glass, displaying subtle iridescent tones that change beautifully under different lighting conditions. It is moulded "R. Lalique France" to the underside, confirming production during René Lalique's lifetime, and stands approximately 18 cm high & 16.5cm wide at the top edges.

The vase presents exceptionally well with crisp moulding and an even original satin finish. The polished cabochons remain bright and well-defined, highlighting the outstanding quality of Lalique's craftsmanship. It is in very good original condition with no chips, cracks or repairs observed.

A highly sought-after collector's piece from René Lalique's final years of production, the Bamako vase is increasingly difficult to source in such attractive original condition and remains an important addition to any serious Art Deco or Lalique collection.
