René Lalique Néfliers Vase No. 940 Blue Patina Frosted Glass c1923 Signed France
René Lalique "Néfliers" vase, Model No. 940, designed in 1923. This iconic Art Deco vase features a beautifully moulded decoration of medlar branches and fruit in frosted glass with an attractive blue-grey patinated finish. The rounded form and crisp moulding make it one of René Lalique's most recognisable botanical designs.
The vase is signed "R. Lalique France" to the underside (please satisfy yourself from the photographs). The frosted finish contrasts beautifully with the polished rim, highlighting the intricate detail of the design.
Condition is very good overall. No chips, cracks or repairs noted on inspection. There is light wear to the base consistent with age and careful use. Please examine all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
A superb example of an original René Lalique vase from the Art Deco period, ideal for collectors of French art glass or as a striking display piece.
The vase measures 14.5cm tall & 15.5cm wide approx.
