Vintage 1902 Longines 14k Gold Mens 55.4mm Manual Cal 19.74 Pocket Watch 132g

A truly stunning antique Longines hunter cased pocket watch, housed in a richly coloured 14ct gold case with engine turned outer covers and a decorative vacant cartouche to the front. The white porcelain dial is signed Longines and features elegant black Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and original rose gold coloured hands. The dial presents very well with classic early Longines styling. The inner dust cover is beautifully engraved with Longines medal awards and Grand Prix text, giving the watch wonderful period character. The rear cuvette is also decorated with the Longines Chronometre medals design, including Paris, Anvers, Milan and Bruxelles. The movement is fully signed Longines and numbered 1411622. It is a high quality manual wind Longines pocket watch movement, most likely calibre 19.74N, from the early 1900s period. The case is stamped 0.585, indicating 14ct gold, with matching number 1411622, The inner front case lid is beautifully engraved in German, noting Presented for 25 years of service, adding wonderful period detail. total weight 132g grams. This pocket watch has almost no wear, hinges and lids are tight.
