A charming vintage silver novelty fob watch brooch modelled as a cuckoo clock, richly decorated with enamel birds, leaves and butterflies, accented with marcasite stones. The centre houses a miniature Swiss 17 rubis as1051 watch movement with Roman numeral dial and blued hands. A highly decorative and unusual mid-century wearable watch jewel, working but not tested for timekeeping, would need a service to keep time. Approx measurements: Height 40mm x 26mm.
