An exceptionally rare early 20th century Longines pendant watch, circa 1915, housed in a substantial 44mm solid platinum case with a beautifully diamond-set bezel and original presentation box.

The elegant signed Longines dial features raised gilt Arabic numerals, black outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o'clock, and matching gilt hands. The dial has a refined Art Deco / Edwardian feel, with wonderful period presence.

The slim platinum case is fully set with diamonds around the front bezel, with black enamel detail to the outer case edge. The snap-back case remains in nice original condition and is signed inside:

Powered by a signed Longines 17 jewel manual wind 18.89M movement, which is currently running well. Timing results show amplitude 270 and gaining approximately 24 seconds per day.
