René Lalique Chevreuse Vase No.1081 c1930 Frosted Glass Sepia Patina Signed

René Lalique "Chevreuse" Vase No. 1081, an original lifetime production designed in 1930. This elegant Art Deco vase is executed in frosted glass with the original sepia patina highlighting the repeating floral bands, one of René Lalique's most refined architectural vase designs. The model is recorded as No. 1081 and was first introduced in 1930.

The vase is acid-etched signed R. Lalique France to the base (please refer to photos). The stepped form is decorated with four bands of stylised floral motifs separated by vertically ribbed frosted sections, creating a striking interplay between satin and polished surfaces.

Condition is very good overall. No chips, cracks or repairs noted. The base shows expected light shelf wear and scratching from age and use. The original sepia patina remains well preserved. Please examine all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.

A highly desirable original René Lalique design dating from the Art Deco period, suitable for collectors of French art glass, Lalique, and early 20th-century decorative arts.
