René Lalique Périgord Vase No. 1003 Frosted Satin Glass c.1928 Signed R. Lalique France
René Lalique "Périgord" vase, Model No. 1003, designed in 1928. An iconic Art Deco design featuring four bold, sweeping lobes around a cylindrical neck, executed in frosted satin glass. The Périgord vase is one of René Lalique's most recognisable late 1920s creations and is referenced in the Marcilhac catalogue as Model No. 1003.
This example is signed "R. Lalique" to the underside, indicating production during René Lalique's lifetime. The vase measures approximately 14 cm high.
Condition is very good overall. No obvious chips, cracks or repairs are visible from the photographs. There is light age-related wear to the base consistent with careful use and a few minor marks that appear to be surface residue. The original frosted finish remains attractive throughout.
A highly desirable original René Lalique Art Deco vase that would make an excellent addition to any Lalique, French art glass or Art Deco collection.
The vase measures 14.5cm tall & 19.5cm wide approx.
Provenance From an important single owner collection of René Lalique glass. Part of Harrington & Co's "Once in a Lifetime René Lalique Collection of 97 pieces".
