Vintage Coro Jewelcraft Creations Silver Plated Bacchanalian Brooch c1920s-1950s

A large vintage silver plated brooch produced in England under the Jewelcraft name, a mark associated with the American costume jewellery company Coro from the 1920s through the 1950s.

The openwork design depicts a lively classical Bacchanalian procession, with cherubs or putti riding goats, sounding a horn and carrying flowing drapery. The reverse is signed "Jewelcraft Creations" and fitted with a long pin and secure catch.
