René Lalique Guirlande de Roses Vase c1914 No.951 Clear & Pink Patina Signed
René Lalique Guirlande de Roses vase, Model No. 951, an elegant Art Nouveau design created in 1914. This beautiful vase features delicately moulded garlands of roses encircling the rounded square body, a refined botanical motif characteristic of Lalique's early decorative work before the Art Deco period.
Manufactured in blown-moulded clear glass (mould no. 955), this example retains its polished finish with an attractive soft pink stained/patinated decoration accentuating the raised rose garlands. The subtle colouring beautifully highlights the intricate floral relief while maintaining the clarity and brilliance of the glass.
According to the René Lalique catalogue raisonné, the Guirlande de Roses vase measures 14 cm high, appeared in the 1928 and 1932 catalogues, was withdrawn in 1937, and was not reintroduced after 1947, making original examples increasingly desirable among collectors.
The vase is signed R. Lalique France to the underside.
Condition is very good overall with light age-related wear consistent with careful use. The glass displays well, and the decorative staining remains attractive. Please inspect all photographs carefully for the best indication of condition.
