An exceptional and highly sought-after original René Lalique "Six Figurines et Masques" vase, model No. 886, first introduced in 1912 during the early years of Lalique's revolutionary glassmaking career. This striking design features alternating frosted oval panels and beautifully sculpted classical female figures interspersed with theatrical masks, showcasing Lalique's fascination with mythology, symbolism and the Art Nouveau movement.

Finished in a delicate sepia patina over frosted glass, the vase beautifully highlights the intricate relief decoration while creating remarkable depth and warmth. Designs from this early period are among René Lalique's most desirable works, representing the transition from his celebrated jewellery creations into decorative art glass.

The underside bears the faint acid-etched R. Lalique France signature, consistent with authentic early production. The signature is lightly engraved but visible under the correct lighting.
