Impressive Rene Lalique "Actinia" Anemone Opalescent Glass Vase - Signed - 1930s 10-889
A beautiful original René Lalique "Actinia" vase in stunning opalescent glass, one of Lalique's most recognisable Art Deco designs. The vase features elegant twisting, sea anemone-inspired ribs with finely textured detailing that catches the light beautifully, giving it an ever-changing appearance from soft milky blue to warm golden opalescence.
This is a substantial example, measuring approximately 21cm high and 19cm across the rim, making it an impressive display piece. Signed "R. Lalique" to the underside.
The vase is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, showing only light wear to the base consistent with age and careful cabinet display.
An outstanding piece of original French Art Deco glass that would suit any serious René Lalique collection or make a stunning centrepiece on its own. These authentic opalescent examples are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially in this condition.
A highly desirable piece for collectors of René Lalique and important French Art Deco glass.
A superb opportunity to acquire one of René Lalique's most iconic early Art Nouveau vase designs in a highly desirable colour.
Provenance From an important single owner collection of René Lalique glass. Part of Harrington & Co's "Once in a Lifetime René Lalique Collection of 97 pieces".
