René Lalique Beautreillis Vase No.989 Black & Clear Designed Glass c1927 Signed

René Lalique "Beautreillis" Vase No. 989, designed in 1927. One of Lalique's distinctive Art Deco designs, featuring a wide shallow bowl raised on a bold geometric pedestal decorated with the iconic honeycomb or trellis pattern. The satin frosted finish with polished highlights creates a beautiful contrast, allowing the sculptural design to catch the light from every angle.

This authentic example is moulded "R. Lalique France" to the underside. The vase measures approximately 18cm in diameter and is finished in the desirable clear frosted glass.

The vase is in very good vintage condition with no obvious chips or cracks visible. There are light age-related surface scratches to the underside from display and use, consistent with an original piece approaching 100 years old. Please inspect all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.

A highly collectible René Lalique design and an excellent addition to any collection of French Art Deco glass or museum-quality decorative arts.
