René Lalique Bresse Vase No. 1073 Celadon Green Grey Patina c1931 Signed France

René Lalique Bresse vase, model No. 1073, first introduced in 1931 during the height of the Art Deco period. This exceptional design is inspired by the flowing plumage of the famous Bresse rooster, with sweeping feather motifs deeply moulded around the rounded body. The sculptural relief and soft satin finish create a striking interplay of light, making it one of Lalique's most elegant and recognisable decorative designs.

This example is produced in the highly sought-after celadon green glass with a beautiful grey patina, a rare factory finish that accentuates the intricate feather details. The subtle green tone changes beautifully depending on the light, highlighting the remarkable craftsmanship synonymous with René Lalique's work.

The base is signed "R. Lalique France", confirming its authenticity. Rare coloured examples such as this are considerably scarcer than the standard clear or opalescent versions and are highly desirable among serious René Lalique collectors.

Condition:
Presented in very good vintage condition. The glass displays well with no obvious chips or cracks visible in the photographs. There are light surface scratches and expected wear to the underside consistent with age and careful use. Please examine all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
