Description
René Lalique "Palmes" Vase No. 952 Amber Sepia Patinated Glass c.1923 Signed R. Lalique France
René Lalique "Palmes" vase, Model No. 952, designed in 1923. A beautiful example in amber glass with the desirable sepia patinated finish, featuring an all-over relief design of overlapping palm fronds characteristic of Lalique's celebrated Art Deco period.
The vase retains its original moulded "R. Lalique France" signature to the underside and displays the rich amber colouring that highlights the intricate moulded decoration. The satin patina contrasts beautifully with the polished surfaces, giving the vase exceptional depth and luminosity.
Presented in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs visible. The base shows only light age-related wear consistent with careful use.
The vase measures 11.5cm tall & 10.5cm wide approx.
Provenance From an important single owner collection of René Lalique glass. Part of Harrington & Co's "Once in a Lifetime René Lalique Collection of 97 pieces".
