First introduced in 1931, the model beautifully demonstrates René Lalique's unique ability to combine natural botanical forms with the clean, sophisticated lines that defined Art Deco design.
The vase features a graceful flared trumpet-shaped body resting upon a richly moulded frieze of fully opened buttercup flowers, leaves and intertwining stems. Each blossom is sculpted in remarkable detail, creating a continuous floral garland that wraps around the base of the vase. Lalique's satin-frosted finish softens the relief while allowing light to gently illuminate every petal and leaf, producing the ethereal glow for which his glass became world renowned.

Condition
Presented in very good vintage condition. The opalescent finish and blue patina display beautifully, with the moulded floral decoration remaining crisp and well defined.
