Designed in 1913 at the height of Lalique's creative brilliance, this iconic masterpiece captures the elegance of the Art Nouveau movement while foreshadowing the bold sculptural forms that would define Art Deco.
The vase is decorated with powerful intertwining lizards that gracefully frame stylised cornflowers (bleuets), creating a dramatic sense of movement and symmetry.
